Events

Every year, over 100 shows are run at our centre from affiliated British Dressage and British Show jumping to grass roots unaffiliated dressage and show jumping. We offer UK Riders and Cricklands  qualifiers, summer Championships and a winter points series.  The facilities, accessibility, location, setting and professional helpful staff make for a fantastic venue. The Hayrack café which is open for all events offers a wide menu.

What’s more, we have great attractions on site to enhance your visit; including an Animal Zone (with over 1000 animals) and a coffee shop

She is the floorplan designer for Equidance and has been instrumental in many of Equidance’s clients successes, including winners at regional championships and podium placings at BD championship and top ten placings at FEI level shows.

Class 1a – 09:00 – Arena 1 – KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice – First Round

Rule 316. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 90cm.

First place rosette kindly sponsored by KBIS Insurance Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

British Novice:

Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify – in accordance with Rule 316.6.

b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2014 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the British Novice Final – in accordance with Rule 316.6

Qualifies for: KBIS Insurance British Novice Championship – Second Round.

Qualifying period yearly 1st May – 30th April inclusive.

Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four KBIS Insurance British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in and attend four KBIS Insurance British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification.

If combined with an open:

In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the British Novice section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded.

In Category 2 Shows the sections must always be split with two sets of prize money awarded, irrespective of starters.

Prizes: 1st: £40.00, 2nd: £25.00, 3rd: £20.00, 4th: £19.00, 5th: £17.00, Total: £121.00

Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 95cm.

In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members excluding any rider listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2018, or any horse/rider combination listed on the British Showjumping Silver League as of 31st March 2018.

The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round, or clear in both phases if held Single Phase.

Riders who qualify must submit their details at www.bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.

Prizes: 1st: £50.00, 2nd: £30.00, 3rd: £25.00, 4th: £20.00, 5th: £20.00, 6th: £20.00, Total: £165.00

Class 3a – Arena 1 – Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery – First Round

Rule 314. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 1.00m.

Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 225 points. Four Double Clears will qualify – in accordance with Rule 314.6.

b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2013 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of five years or under in the same calendar year as the Discovery Final – in accordance with Rule 314.6.

Qualifies for: Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship Second Round.

Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive.

Numbers to qualify: Those horses that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four First Round competitions held in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in and attend four Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification.

Newcomers:

(a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify – in accordance with rule 312.6

(b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2012, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Newcomers Final – in accordance with Rule 312.6.

Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Second Rounds. Qualifying period 1st June – 31st May inclusive.

1.10m Open:

For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

If combined with an open:

In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.

Prizes: 1st: £45.00, 2nd: £35.00, 3rd: £25.00, 4th: £22.00, 5th: £18.00, Total: £145.00

Class 6 – Arena 1 – National 1.15m Members Cup Qualifier

Rule 294. Single Phase. Speed 350mpm. Start Height 1.15m.

Open to registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who are not listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2018.

Qualifies for: British Showjumping National Championships.

Qualification period: 1st June-31st May.

Numbers to qualify: Two double clears (subject to revision). Qualification is horse/rider combination.

Prizes: 1st: £50.00, 2nd: £35.00, 3rd: £25.00, 4th: £20.00, 5th: £20.00, Total: £150.00

Class 7 – Arena 1 – Equitop Myoplast Senior Foxhunter First Round/1.20m Open

Rule 310. Single Phase. Speed 350mpm. Start Height 1.20m.

First place rosette kindly sponsored by Equitop Myoplast In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split and two sets of prize money awarded. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

Foxhunter section:

(a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 700 points. Four double clears will qualify – in accordance with rule 310.6

(b) For all registered horses born on or after 1 January 2011, irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of seven years or under in the same calendar year as the Foxhunter Final – in accordance with rule 310.6 Four double clears will qualify.

Four Double clears will qualify for the Senior Foxhunter Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st June-31st May inclusive.

Those horses that have qualified for the Senior Foxhunter Championship in 2018 are not eligible for qualification to the 2019 Championship.

Open section:

For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

If combined with an open:

In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.

Prizes: 1st: £60.00, 2nd: £45.00, 3rd: £35.00, 4th: £20.00, 5th: £20.00, Total: £180.00
