Events

Every year, shows are run at our centre from affiliated British Dressage and British Show jumping to grass roots unaffiliated dressage and show jumping. We offer  qualifiers, summer Championships and a winter points series.  The facilities, accessibility, location, setting and professional helpful staff make for a fantastic venue.

What’s more, we have great attractions on site to enhance your visit; including an Animal Zone (with over 1000 animals) and a coffee shop

An evening with Geoff Billington and Bob Ellis

From-Both-sides-of-the-Fence

Quantity: x £18.00

“From Both Sides of the Fence”

A unique educational experience which pitches Double Olympian Geoff Billington against his arch rival (and great friend) acclaimed London Olympic show jumping course designer Bob Ellis.

Geoff will discuss his experience as a double Olympian at Atlanta and Sidney Olympic games.

Bob will discuss the challenges he faced after being selected as course designer for the London Olympic Games to design a unique course, relative to London that would surpass anything that had been built before and achieve great sport and the right result.

They will cover all levels of the sport from grass roots to Olympic competition.

This is a unique opportunity and insight into the highest levels of equestrian sport and what it takes to achieve great things from humble beginnings, what can be achieved through hard work and dedication. Neither Geoff nor Bob are from privileged backgrounds, all they have achieved is through blood sweat and tears.
