Class 1a – 09:00 – Arena 1 – Senior British Novice Championship – First Round

Rule 316. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 90cm.

Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

British Novice:

Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify – in accordance with Rule 316.6.

b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2015 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the British Novice Final – in accordance with Rule 316.6

Qualifies for: Senior British Novice Championship – Second Round.

Qualifying period yearly 1st May – 30th April inclusive.

Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in and attend four British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money

in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification.

If combined with an open:

In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the British Novice section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded.

In Category 2 Shows the sections must always be split with two sets of prize money awarded, irrespective of starters.

Prizes: 1st: £40.00, 2nd: £25.00, 3rd: £20.00, 4th: £19.00, 5th: £17.00, Total: £121.00

Class 2a – Arena 1 – Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery – First Round

Rule 314. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 1.00m.

Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 225 points. Four Double Clears will qualify – in accordance with Rule 314.6.

b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2014 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of five years or under in the same calendar year as the Discovery Final – in accordance with Rule 314.6.

Qualifies for: Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship Second Round.

Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive.

Numbers to qualify: Those horses that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four First Round competitions held in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in and attend four Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). Class 4a – Arena 1 – Connolly’s RED MILLS Senior Newcomers – First Round

Rule 312. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 1.10m.

First place rosette kindly sponsored by Connolly’s RED MILLS In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split and two sets of prize money awarded. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

(a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify – in accordance with rule 312.6

(b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2013, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Newcomers Final – in accordance with Rule 312.6.

Qualifies for: Connolly’s RED MILLS Senior Newcomers Second Round.

Qualifying period 1st June – 31st May inclusive.

Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the First Round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Connolly’s RED MILLS Senior Newcomers First Round competitions in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in a Connolly’s RED MILLS Senior Newcomers Second Round, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). To obtain a double clear qualification, even if the horse is the only clear round, it must jump a jump-off round and jump clear to gain a double clear round.

If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.

Prizes: 1st: £45.00, 2nd: £35.00, 3rd: £25.00, 4th: £22.00, 5th: £18.00, Total: £145.00

Class 4b – Arena 1 – Senior 1.10m Open

Rule 312. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 1.10m.

For registered horses in Grades: A, B & C. Ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year. In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split and two sets of prize money awarded. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

Prizes: 1st: £45.00, 2nd: £35.00, 3rd: £25.00, 4th: £22.00, 5th: £18.00, Total: £145.00

Class 5 – Arena 1 – National 1.15m Members Cup Qualifier

Rule 294. Single Phase. Speed 350mpm. Start Height 1.15m.

In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

Open to registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who are not listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2018.

Qualifies for: British Showjumping National Championships.

Qualification period: 1st June-31st May.

Numbers to qualify: Two double clears (subject to revision). Qualification is horse/rider combination.

Prizes: 1st: £50.00, 2nd: £35.00, 3rd: £25.00, 4th: £20.00, 5th: £20.00, Total: £150.00

Entry Fee = £20.00


Class 6 – Arena 1 – Blue Chip Karma Performance Championship Qualifier

Rule 310. Table A7. Speed 350mpm. Start Height 1.20m.

In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

For registered horses in grade C which have not won a total of 700 points,(unless Age Rule applies), to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Equitop Myoplast Senior Foxhunter first round. (Age rule applies)

Please note that in accordance with the amendment to BS Rule 310 all 7yr old horses are now eligible regardless of points won, but the horse must be 7yrs old in the year of the Final ie 2019 to be able to compete in the Championship. Therefore any horses which are currently 7yrs old and have won more than 700 points are unable to qualify in any qualifiers held from 1st September 2018 to 31st December 2018. Qualification does not pass down the line.

Riders who qualify must submit their details at www.bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.

Prizes: 1st: £60.00, 2nd: £45.00, 3rd: £35.00, 4th: £20.00, 5th: £20.00, Total: £180.00

Class 7 – Arena 1 – DDS Demolition 1.25m Winter Championship Qualifier

Single Phase. Speed 350mpm. Start Height 1.25m.

In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule – 76.6

For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump a clear in the first round, or clear in both phases if held Single Phase.

Riders who qualify must submit their details at www.bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.
